Coast Guard Arctic Service Medal

Authorized by the Coast Guard on May 20, 1976, this is awarded to members of the U.S. Coast Guard who have served aboard U.S. Coast Guard ships or aircraft in operations, or support of an operation, in excess of 21 consecutive days in regions of the Arctic circle.
