Naval Reserve Sea Service Ribbon

Authorized on June 3, 1987. It is awarded to officers and enlisted personnel of the United States Navy and Naval Reserve for active duty, selected reserve service or combination of service after 15 August 1974, aboard a Naval Reserve ship or its reserve unit or an embarked active or reserve staff, for a cumulative total of 36 months.
