The opening music is the first two measures of Nancy Lee from a recording, Navy Music, by the U.S. Naval Academy Band, Copyright © 1956, U. S. Naval Academy Alumni Association. We have repeatedly requested permission to use the four second clip but haven't been able to get anyone to believe us. The music is the same as used in the messhall and Veterans' Stadium but the recording had long since been lost.
Pete Carrothers to the rescue! He saw the plea for the record and still had one. He generously loaned it to Mister B to add the authentic opening. Mister B is forever in Pete's debt
